New Code of Practice issued

Amendments to the BDIA Code of Practice in Complaints, Interactions with Healthcare Professionals and Advertising have been made.

New Code of Practice issued

Following the Council’s agreement at its last meeting to amendments to the BDIA Complaints Procedure and Guidelines on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, a new consolidated and combined Memorandum, Articles, Code of Practice, Guidance and Complaints Procedure document was circulated to members on 10th January 2019. The new document includes the amendment to article 39a) agreed at last year’s AGM whereby a member company or commonly owned group of companies may not have more than one Councillor. The document also updates the guidance on members’ relationships with Healthcare Professionals, the guidance on advertising, and also contains an updated BDIA Complaints Procedure.
