The BDIA annual festive networking event in London.
Our Midwinter Meeting is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow members, introduce new colleagues in your business to new contacts and to build relationships, so now is a brilliant time to join us in celebration of 100 years of the Association and its member events.
This year’s event is located in the heart of London at a venue many of you will be familiar with – the OXO Tower! The BDIA Midwinter Meeting will take place on the second floor (OXO2), featuring a gorgeous panoramic view of London’s iconic skyline, including St Paul’s Cathedral and Somerset House, which can be seen from OXO2’s floor length windows and balcony.

If you attended 2022’s BDIA Summer Conference and AGM, you will be familiar with Drs. Jin Vaghela and Kish Patel for their entertaining, informative and thought-provoking seminar session. This year, Jin and Kish are joining us once more to update members on the latest dental trends and attitudes.
Founders of Smile Clinic Group and winners of multiple Industry Awards for Best Practice, Best Young Dentist, Best Dental Group and more, don’t miss your chance to come and see these entrepreneurial and talented clinicians at this year’s Centenary Midwinter event.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to speak with the BDIA team if you have any questions and meet the new President of the Association, Gail Vernon of VSM Marketing. We will also give awards to long-standing members who were involved in the governance of the Association for their dedication and commitment over the years.
So join us for a delicious Christmas lunch, networking and raise a glass with us in celebration of 100 years!

As this year’s venue has a limited capacity of 80 guests, bookings will be on a first come, first served. Bookings can be made via Eventbrite via the button links in this email.
Midwinter Meeting programme
- 11.30-11.45am – Arrival/coffee.
- 11.45 – 11.55am – The BDIA Chief Executive’s Welcome and some reflections on 100 years of the BDIA and the Centenary Year – Edmund Proffitt.
- 11.55am – 12.05pm – President’s Welcome – Gail Vernon.
- 12.05 – 12.15pm – Presentation of BDIA Past President Medals & the BDIA Award 2023.
- 12.15 – 12.45pm – “What’s Hot and What’s Not in dentistry!” Back by popular demand!! – with our dynamic guest speakers, Drs. Jin Vaghela & Kish Patel.
- 12.45 – 1.15pm – Pre-dinner drinks.
- 1.15- 3.30 pm Midwinter Lunch.
