Cabinet Office resources on movement of goods between UK and EU from 1 January 2021
17 December 2020
With 15 days to go before the end of the Brexit Transition Period, the UK and EU have yet to reach an agreement on future trading arrangements.
However, the Government has been keen to emphasise that some certainties do exist in relation to changes that will apply to businesses trading with the EU from 1 January 2021.
The Cabinet Office has prepared a document to act as a comprehensive directory of relevant Government guidance for companies on the movement of goods between the UK and EU. The document includes guidance on a range of topics including customs procedures, medicines and medical devices (referred to as Category 1 goods), transport, data protection and more.
