The British Dental Industry Association (BDIA) is excited to be working in partnership with the Association of Dental Administrators and Managers (ADAM), uniting two well-established organisations with a shared goal — to support the people who keep dental practices running and raise standards across the profession.
This strategic partnership will focus on delivering practical benefits for dental practice managers and non-clinical staff — including access to BDIA training courses designed to upskill front-of-house and administrative teams across the UK.
“This partnership is a natural fit,” said Edmund Proffitt, Chief Executive, BDIA “We share ADAM’s commitment to supporting practice managers and the wider dental team. By combining our resources and expertise, we’re able to provide even more value to practices and help ensure that all staff — not just clinicians — have the knowledge and confidence they need to thrive.”
ADAM members will have access to exclusive discounts on BDIA training courses, including the Introduction to Dentistry and Advanced Certificate programmes. The courses cover a mix of practical topics — things like dental anatomy, restorative treatments, and infection control. They’ve been put together with help from people who really know the industry, and they’re designed to be flexible and easy to follow. Perfect for non-clinical staff who want to grow their knowledge and feel more confident in their day-to-day work.
Lisa Bainham, President at ADAM, added: “We are delighted to be working with the BDIA on this important initiative. Non-clinical staff are vital to the smooth running of every practice, and this partnership ensures they have the tools and support to continue delivering excellence.”
The partnership will also explore future opportunities for collaboration, including joint events, resources, and initiatives to support the ongoing professional development of dental teams.
