What an incredible few days we’ve just had at the BDIA National Conference at Silverstone. It was our biggest conference ever – and it’s all thanks to you.

Your support, enthusiasm, and commitment turned the Conference into so much more than just an event. It was a real celebration of our industry – full of insight, collaboration, and energy. Quite simply, it wouldn’t have been the same without you.

At the 102nd BDIA Annual General Meeting held during the conference Matt Turner, General Manager at A-Dec Dental, was elected as the new BDIA President, and Simon Rich, Managing Director at Skillbond, was elected as the new BDIA Vice President

Matt Turner, President

“Becoming President of the British Dental Industry Association is a tremendous honour and privilege. It reflects years of strategic leadership in the dental sector and reaffirms my commitment to helping shape our industry’s future.

As President I will act as a catalyst for collaboration, connecting manufacturers, clinicians, and regulators to drive innovation, uphold best practice, and make sure every member’s voice is heard.

My presidency is guided by a clear vision: to foster a culture of transparency, responsiveness, and shared success across the BDIA community. Respectful of the association’s strong legacy and alert to emerging challenges, I lead with purpose, empathy, and a genuine passion for elevating the UK dental industry.”

Simon Rich, Vice President

“I am honoured to accept the position of Vice President of the BDIA. The Association plays a crucial role in championing quality, ethics, and collaboration across the dental sector. I look forward to working closely with the BDIA leadership and our industry colleagues to support our members and help shape a strong and sustainable future for UK dentistry.”

At the AGM four Members were also elected to serve on the BDIA Council. Congratulations to:

• Sam Tyrer, Chief Executive Officer, DD Group (re-elected)
• Craig Welling, Chief Executive Officer, FMC Ltd (newly elected)
• John Maloney, Managing Director/Country Manager, GC UK (newly elected)
