Join us and gain valuable business insights at the BDIA Regional Dinner on Thursday 27th February 2025 from 6.30pm
The event
BDIA members are invited to join us for an informative update on the latest dental economic trends and insights into how these changes could affect your business at our networking dinner.
This BDIA event will offer members an opportunity to network with colleagues while enjoying a buffet dinner and benefitting from an update on key economic developments within dentistry.
The speaker
Our pre-dinner speaker for this event is Stephen Tidman, back by popular demand following an engaging update at our 2023 Late Summer Conference.
Stephen is a leading dental economist and one of the foremost analysts of trends in the dental profession. Chairing the UK Dental Market Study Group, he works closely with organisations including the BDIA, BDA, DLA and NASDAL to prepare the most comprehensive annual dental market report available, including bespoke work for our own Spotlight publication.
Stephen will be discussing the following topics and looking at factors that are influencing these areas of discussion using data not yet released from the newest issue of BDIA Spotlight 2024:
- The total spend on UK high street dentistry, including NHS/private split
- High street practice trends
- Gross earnings/turnover of NHS practice owners (England)
- NHS uplift (England) and RPI increases
Stephen will be giving an exclusive preview of many of the insights that will be included in Spotlight 2024 later this year. From developments in the composition of the dental workforce to practice expenditure, profitability and ownership levels, the information in Stephen’s update will be relevant to all BDIA members.
