Scotland Infection Prevention & Control update

Following changes to infection prevention and control guidance published in December by Anti-microbial Resistance and Healthcare Association Infection (ARHAI) in the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual (NIPCM), revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for dental teams in Scotland were issued.
In response to the new guidance and SOPs, the BDA has produced an FAQ document addressing the changes.
The document addresses respiratory and non-respiratory pathways, PPE requirements, fallow time for AGPs and the management of COVID-positive patients under the updated framework.
